General information The present Chapter is devoted to the transmission components located between a back part of the engine and driving wheels of the car (including back differential, however without transmission and the transfer case which are considered in the Head Korobka of gear shifting according to the destination the considered components it is possible to break into three categories: coupling, driveshaft, half shafts / power shafts and back differential. Descriptions of a design and the principle of action of each of separate knots, and also some procedures of check of a state, removal, dismantling and recovery repair entering into all three groups of components are provided in the following Sections.
As the most part of the procedures described in the present Chapter is made under the car, special attention should be paid to reliability of fixing of the last in the lifted situation.
