Body General information and precautionary measures
Bodies of the models considered in the present manual have a frame design. The bearing frame consists of two longitudinal side beams executed in the form of steel pipes of rectangular section and connected among themselves by cross-pieces. Cross beams are welded to longitudinal, or fasten to them by means of rivets. The exception is made only by some of models where cross beams of a pribolchena to longitudinal. Body assembly is fixed on a frame by means of the support equipped with rubber pillows and can be completely dismantled. Some of body elements, the most vulnerable in case of accident, have bolted fixture and can be easily replaced in an individual order. Are among such removable components, bumpers, door panels, a cowl, a cover of the luggage compartment and all glasses. Only the most general procedures of repair and service of body components get to limits of qualification of the average amateur mechanic. |
