The electric drive of door window regulators - the general information, check of serviceability of functioning of components
General information
Food moves on the main switch of management of functioning of the electric drive of window regulators only in position of the RUN switch of ignition.
The main switch is located on a driver's door and allows to exercise control of functioning of regulators of window regulators of all doors of the car. In a design of the switch the possibility of control of the regulator of a window regulator of a driver's door in one contact is realized. Besides, the blocking switch by means of which the driver can prevent a possibility of the drive of regulators of passenger doors from individual switches is a part of the switch.
The relay located under a forward overlay of a driver's door the chain breaker installed at the left under the dashboard is a part of an electric chain of control of the electric drive of window regulators.

| 1. Remove a forward overlay of a threshold of a driver's door and take the relay of the electric drive of window regulators from the landing nest. |
| 2. Check distribution of conductivity between relay plugs in its various working provisions. In not powered state conductivity (with a nonzero resistance) has to take place between plugs No. No. 1 and 3 of the relay, between plugs No. No. 2 and 4 conductivity has to be absent. |

| 3. Give battery tension between plugs No. No. 1 and 3, - conductivity has to appear between plugs No. No. 2 and 4. The faulty relay is subject to replacement. |
|

| 1. Remove assembly of the main switch from a driver's door. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the switch. |
| 2. Check correctness of distribution of conductivity between the corresponding plugs of the switch in each of working provisions of the last. |

Electric contour of the electric drive of window regulators

1. Check a condition of a safety lock of the electric drive of a window regulator of the corresponding door in the assembly block. If a safety lock as it should be, you pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of signs of short circuit on weight an electrical wiring on the site of a chain between the assembly block and the relay of window regulators. 2. Remove the relay and check serviceability of its functioning (see above). If the relay as it should be, you pass to the following stage of check, otherwise make its replacement. 3. Measure resistance of a black wire of a plait of an electrical wiring on the site between the weight and the plug No. 3 of the contact socket of the relay. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise eliminate break in a chain. 4. Measure tension between the weight and the plug No. 1 of the contact socket of a plait of the relay if tension takes place, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise eliminate break in a chain. 5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the main switch of management of functioning of the electric drive of window regulators. Measure resistance of a green-white wire on the site between sockets of the switch and the relay of the electric drive. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise eliminate break in a chain. 6. Check serviceability of functioning of the main switch (see above). If the switch as it should be, you pass to the following stage of check, otherwise make its replacement. 7. Measure resistance between the weight and the plug of a black wire of the contact socket of a plait of an electrical wiring of the main switch. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise eliminate break in a chain. 8. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the suspected electric motor of the drive of the regulator of a window regulator of the corresponding door. For a short time give battery tension between electric motor plugs, - make sure of smoothness and noiselessness of rotation of the motor. Having changed polarity of connection of the power supply, make sure that the motor regularly rotates in an opposite direction. The faulty electric motor is subject to replacement. 9. Measure resistance of the wires going from the main switch to the suspected electric motor. If the result of measurement makes
more than 10 Ohms
(for both wires), pass to the following stage of check, otherwise pass to implementation of the procedure described below. 10. Check serviceability of functioning of the individual switch of a door with a faulty window regulator (see above). If the switch as it should be, check a condition of a connecting electrical wiring, - make necessary recovery repair, - otherwise make replacement of the switch. 11. Measure tension between the weight and the contact socket of the individual switch of a faulty window regulator. Presence of tension of the battery confirms serviceability of a condition of system, - check reliability of contact connections. If tension is absent, eliminate break in a chain on the site between the corresponding individual switch and the relay of the electric drive of window regulators. |
