The uniform lock - the device and the principle of functioning, diagnostics of malfunctions, check of a condition of components

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS).

Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).

It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

General information

Locking of all doors of the car can be made at the same time by locking of any of forward doors of the car from within or a key outside. Besides, the possibility of unlocking/locking of each of back doors is provided in an individual order from within.

Diagnostics of malfunctions

Serviceability of functioning of locks of forward doors at unlocking/locking is broken by their key

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check serviceability of a condition of the cylinder of the door lock.
2. Make sure that there was no detachment or jamming of driving draft of the activator.


Serviceability of operation of locks of one or all doors at activation of the lock of a forward door is broken

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check serviceability of a condition of the corresponding safety lock.
2. Check a condition of an electrical wiring and reliability of fastening of contact connections.
3. Check serviceability of functioning of door activators and their driving drafts.


Serviceability of operation of door locks at their activation from within the car is broken

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of reliability of connection of driving draft of the activator of the lock of the corresponding door.
2. Check correctness of adjustment of the lower draft, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.

Activators of locks

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Switch off ignition.
2. Remove an internal upholstery of the corresponding door.
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the activator of the door lock.
4. By means of wires crossing points give battery tension contact plugs of the activator.
5. If the activator does not work, try to change polarity of connection.
6. If the activator does not work at any polarity of connection, make its replacement.

Switches of door locks

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery of the corresponding door.
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the switch of the door lock.
3. Remove the switch from the door upholstery panel.
4. By means of an ohmmeter check distribution of conductivity between switch plugs in each of its regular provisions, - conductivity has to take place at the drowned button of the switch and disappear at its otpuskaniye.
5. Replace the faulty switch.
