The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS).
Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation. |
General information
The combined understeering switches of management of functioning of lighting fixtures, cleaners and washers of glass, and also the switch the ignition/lock of blocking of a steering column are among switches of a steering column.
Check
The combined switch
Check of serviceability of functioning of the left understeering switch
Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of the combined switch and check correctness of distribution of conductivity between switch plugs in various provisions of the last. The faulty switch is subject to replacement.
