Control system of speed (темпостат) - the device and the principle of functioning

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS).

Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).

It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

Tempostat allows to support the cruiser speed of the movement of the car at the level chosen by the driver.

At the movement of the car under a bias or uphill the high-speed mode can change.

The control system of a tempostat allows to carry out the movement in the marching mode (with a cruiser speed), to move a setup, to carry out acceleration, to make return to the chosen earlier high-speed mode, and also to make step adjustment of the chosen speed. The vacuum servo-driver (actuation mechanism) of management of the provision of a butterfly valve is located in a motive compartment of the car. Giving of depression on the actuation mechanism is carried out through valvate assembly into which structure, besides the operating valve, also vacuum pump with a driving electric motor, and also ventilating and safety valves enter.

The servo-driver / насосно-клапанная assembly - in a motive compartment of the car, near the top support of the right forward rack of a suspension bracket; The Sensor switch of stoplights - on an arm of a pedal of a foot brake; The Sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter (model with RKPP) - on a coupling pedal arm; The Module of management (ECU) of a tempostat - under a forward overlay of a threshold of a driver's door; The Diagnostic DLC socket - at the left under the dashboard; The Sensor switch of permission of start (model with AT) - on a transmission case wall; The Sensor of the speed (VSS 2) - from above in a back part of a case of transmission.
