Do not perform any repair work under the car enshrined in the lifted provision by means of only one jack! Surely use reliable props!

It is necessary to avoid towage of all-wheel drive models with a separation from the earth only of lobbies (or back) wheels.

If it is impossible to avoid such way of towage, it is necessary to disconnect the corresponding driveshaft(s) from assembly of differential corresponding.

If the car is towed with a separation from the earth of back wheels, lobbies have to be blocked in rectilinear situation by means of special adaptation, the ignition key should be turned in position of OFF in order to avoid damage of the lock of blocking of a wheel.

As it was already told above, it is the best of all to carry out transportation of the failed 4WD-car with a full separation of wheels from the earth.

At installation of the car on a platform of the tow truck it is necessary to include the first transfer (models with RKPP) / or to transfer the selector lever to situation "P" (models from AT), to cock the parking brake and it is reliable to fix safety chains. You watch that chains were not tense too strongly as it will lead to excessive compression of elements of a suspension bracket and it is fraught with destruction of the last when jolting during the movement.

Transportation of the car with the failed transmission has to be made only with a full separation of wheels from the earth on a tow truck platform!

It is also allowed to make towage of the emergency vehicle without separation from the earth of all four wheels.

Use at towage the towing sling which is only specially intended for this purpose which can be got cheap practically in any shop of automobile accessories.

The sling has to cling only to the eyes which are specially intended for this purpose which should not be confused to the safety hooks located under the car near the muffler at all.

Do not forget to turn a key in the lock of ignition of the towed car in position of ON, otherwise inevitably there will be a blocking of a steering column. Besides, at the included ignition also indexes of turns and stoplights are activated.

Remember that at the switched-off engine efficiency of braking of the car considerably decreases because the vacuum amplifier of brakes ceases to function. At the same time it is necessary to squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake with a little big, than usually by effort. On the models equipped with the power steering when performing maneuvering the bigger effort should be put also to a steering wheel.

The driver of the towed vehicle has to try to hold constantly a towing sling in the tense situation in order to avoid breakthroughs and accidents of running-down him wheels.

Before a start of motion drivers of both vehicles (towing and towed) should coordinate among themselves a route.

The movement has to be carried out only with moderate speeds, along the shortest route and observance of traffic regulations. Avoid sharp braking, accelerations and maneuvering.
