Greasing of components of the chassis

Greasing of components of the chassis (each 12 000 km of a run or time in 6 months)

Prepare a necessary reserve of lubricant of the required grade (see Specifications) and the lubricant gun for stuffing of hollow components.

List of the materials necessary for greasing of components of the chassis

1 — Liquid motive oil - is used for greasing of door loops
2 — the Graphite aerosol - is used for greasing of castle cylinders
3 — Lubricant - the wide range of lubricants of various type and the viscosity intended for pumping by means of the lubricant gun is presented at the market
4 — the Lubricant gun - is intended for stuffing of components by lubricant, is used complete with different nozzles and transitional hoses

On some knots instead of lubricant unions caps can be established, - take care also of existence near at hand of a set of unions, - carving nipple nozzles of various form providing adequate access practically to any component are issued.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having glanced under the car, find lubricant unions of components of the steering drive, a suspension bracket and the transmission line. Usually unions are included in the regular package of such knots as tips of steering drafts and cardan hinges. If instead of unions caps are established, instead of them it is necessary to screw the prepared nipple nozzles.
2. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on the props got under a frame, or tire out its elevator.

If you assume to make rotation of wheels at this stage, do not forget to weaken fixing nuts before wheels are torn off from the earth.

3. For a gun nozzle clearing from dirt squeeze out a little lubricant. Wipe a nozzle with pure rags.
4. Prepare a stock of rags and start stuffing of components lubricant.
5. Wipe the lubricant union and the component surface surrounding it with pure rags, connect a nozzle of the gun to the union and start stuffing. Continue to pump lubricant until it does not begin to exude through joints of landing surfaces of a component.

If lubricant begins to exude through a gun nozzle, it is necessary to clean it and to pay special attention to clip density. In case of need replace the union.

6. Collect by rags from a component surface excess of lubricant and you pass to stuffing of the following knot.

7. Continue stuffing of the sliding collar of the universal hinge of the driveshaft until lubricant does not begin to exude an assembly epiploon.

8. When stuffing cardan hinges of usual type lubricant has to begin to exude through joints of components of assembly.

9. Without being chosen from under the car, wipe cables of the drive of the parking brake and grease with fingers their guides and executive levers.

10. At the corresponding complete set of the car apply lubricant on a lithium basis on contact surfaces of persistent arms and adjusting bolts of assemblies of rotary fists.

11. Open a cowl and fill a little lubricant for the chassis in the lock latch mechanism. Ask the assistant to extend against the stop the cowl lock otpuskaniye lever under the dashboard and grease all bared surfaces of a driving cable.
12. Liquid motive oil loops of all doors and a cowl.
13. For greasing of castle cylinders it is the most convenient to use the graphite lubricant delivered in aerosol barrels, - ask in shops of automobile accessories.
14. Grease with silicone lubricant sealing tapes of doors for the purpose of protection them from premature wear.
