Check and adjustment of turns and composition of mix of idling

Check and adjustment of turns and composition of mix of idling (each 25 000 km of a run or time in 12 months)

On the MFI models equipped with system of onboard diagnostics OBD-II a deviation of turns of idling from face value usually it is connected with violation of serviceability of functioning of the IAC valve (see Chapters of the Power supply system and release and the Control system of the engine.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turns of idling is called the frequency of rotation of the engine at the released accelerator pedal. This parameter is among critical, defining both operation of the engine generally, and serviceability of functioning of its various subsystems.
2. Check correctness of installation and serviceability of a condition of the air cleaner and all vacuum lines. Make sure of lack of signs of leaks in the inlet air highway. Estimate a condition of spark plugs, - in case of need make replacement.
3. Cock the parking brake and prop up wheels antiretractable boots. Disconnect everything onboard consumers of the electric power and check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
4. At installation of its single turns only remotely connected digital tachometer is capable to provide the required accuracy of measurement of frequency of rotation of the engine, - you make connection of the device strictly according to instructions of manufacturers.

The system of ignition of the engines equipped with system of the distributed injection (MFI) provides giving of VV of impulses at the same time on candles of the 1st and 2nd cylinders that needs to be considered as some tachometers can issue the doubled indications in such situation.

On models with a turbo-supercharging check of turns of idling is made by means of the diagnostic scanner (the functional F04 mode).

5. The engine has to be heated-up up to the normal working temperature that guarantees automatic shutdown of bystry idling.
6. Make sure that transmission is transferred to neutral transfer (RKPP) / it is established in situation "P" (AT).
7. Lift the frequency of rotation of the engine to 2500 rpm and keep it on this value within 1 ÷ 3 minutes. Having released the gate, dump turns to single and consider the indication of the measuring instrument.
8. Information on adjustments of turns of idling can be gathered from data of VECI label car fixed in a motive compartment.

In case of discrepancies with requirements of Specifications preference should be given to data with VECI.


Idling mix (except the models equipped with the catalytic converter)

On the models equipped with the catalytic converter concentration WITH in the fulfilled gases to definition and adjustment does not give in.


Check and adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of serviceability of a condition of the filtering element of the air cleaner, the spark plugs put in a motive compartment of all hoses check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, track, that that transmission was transferred to neutral transfer (RKPP) / is established in situation "P" or "N" (AT).
2. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature, - the cooling system fan has to turn on.
3. By means of a gas analyzer define percentage in the fulfilled gases of monoxide of carbon (SO). Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications.
4. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment by means of the adjusting screw of the sensor of measurement of an air stream.
