Check of a condition of protective covers of power shafts

Check of a condition of protective covers of power shafts (each 24 000 km of a run or time in 12 months)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Protective covers serve for prevention of hit of dirt in hinges of equal angular speeds (CV JOINTS) of power shafts of the car, and also hold the lubricant filled in hinges. Hit of lubricant and oil on external surfaces of protective covers lead to a premature exit them out of operation in view of what covers should be examined periodically and carefully to wash out solution of soap water.
2. Having cleared covers, check them for existence of cracks, cuts and traces of leak of lubricant. Defective covers are subject to replacement (see the Head Stsepleniye, the transmission line). Estimate reliability of tightening of bandage tapes of fastening of covers.
