1. A problem of system of catching of fuel evaporations (EVAP) is branch chopping off in the fuel tank and cavities of a path of a power supply system during the parking of vapors of fuel in a special coal adsorber from which they after start of the engine are brought in the inlet pipeline and are burned in combustion chambers.
2. The most typical symptom of violation of serviceability of functioning of the EVAP system is emergence of a strong smell of gasoline in a motive compartment of the car. at emergence of a similar smell it is necessary to check immediately a condition of the coal adsorber located in a forward part of a compartment. Check the case of an adsorber and nipple connections of the hoses brought to it for existence of cracks and other mechanical damages.

3. The detailed description of a design and the principle of functioning of the EVAP system is provided in the Head of the Control system of the engine.
