 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Merge oil from the case pallet (see the Head Routine maintenance).
2. Empty the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating).
3. Uncover a gas-distributing belt and GRM drive components (see above).
4. Remove the water pump (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating).
5. Remove the oil pump.


Dismantling

Weakening of a cap of the reducing valve has to be produced before removal of the pump from the engine.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn out screws of fastening of a cover of the oil pump.
2. Take internal components.

Before extraction mark the mutual provision of gear wheels (rotors) of the pump, - at assembly they have to be established similarly.

3. Turn out the stopper weakened earlier and take components of the reducing valve, - try to remember an order of installation of components in a landing nest.

Check

Measurement of working gaps of pump assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure gap size between tops of teeths of internal and external rotors of the pump. If the result of measurement exceeds the limit of admissible range (see Specifications) replace both rotors.
2. Measure by the same probe gap size between the forming surface of an external rotor and a wall of a pump housing. Compare result of measurements to requirements of Specifications in case of need make replacement of a rotor or the case.
3. Measure gap size between a face surface of an internal rotor and a cover of the pump (an axial side play of rotors). If the result of measurement exceeds the limit of admissible range (see Specifications) replace both rotors or the case of pump assembly.

Check of a condition of the reducing valve

Check density of landing of the valve in the saddle. Examine a spring on existence of signs of development of corrosion and mechanical damages. Make replacement of defective components.

Pump housing

Estimate degree of wear of an opening under landing of a pin of a bent shaft and nest under landing of rotors. Make sure of lack of cracks and other mechanical damages. The defective case is subject to replacement.

Forward epiploon of a bent shaft

Check a condition of sealing sponges of an epiploon. In case of identification of deformation, signs of hardening and other defects replace an epiploon.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Put a new epiploon in the case of the oil pump.
2. Establish both rotors of the pump, - track correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle.
3. Install components of the reducing valve and a cover of the pump, tighten fixture with the required effort.


Installation

The oil pressure sensor carving at installation also should be greased with sealant.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order.
2. The interfaced surface before installation needs to be greased with liquid sealant, the sealing ring is subject to replacement. Try not to damage sealing sponges an epiploon.
