 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

3. Remove the cooling system fan assembled with the casing.
4. Take off a V-ribbed driving belt (belts) (see the Head Routine maintenance).
5. Take off a GRM drive belt (see the Head Dvigatel).
6. Remove assembly of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt (see the Head Dvigatel).
7. Remove the sensor of an angle of rotation of the camshaft.
8. Remove a cogwheel of the left camshaft (see the Head Dvigatel).
9. Remove the left back section of a cover of a gas-distributing belt.
10. Remove an arm of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt.
11. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and a hose of system of heating of salon from assembly of the water pump.
12. Disconnect from the pump a hose of supply of cooling liquid to the oil cooler (to model with a turbo-supercharging).
13. Remove assembly of the water pump.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check smoothness of rotation of the bearing of the pump.
2. Check a driving pulley of the pump for existence of signs of mechanical damages. In case of need make replacement.
3. By means of the dial measuring instrument estimate the size of an axial side play of a krylchatka. Extreme admissible value makes 0.5 mm (see Specifications).
4. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure gap size between a krylchatka and a pump housing. Compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications. In case of need replace the pump assembled.
5. After installation of the pump on the engine check it for existence of signs of development of leaks through consolidation of a shaft, - in case of identification of those replace assembly.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order. Do not forget to replace sealing laying and a ring. Fixing bolts drag on with the required effort (10 ÷ 14 Nanometers) in strictly certain order.
2. Upon completion of installation start the engine and check it for existence of extraneous noises and signs of leak of cooling liquid.
