The PCV system serves for decrease in issue in the atmosphere of hydrocarbonic connections at the expense of a conclusion from the engine of crankcase gases. The purge of the block is carried out by a pro-race of the fresh air arriving from the air cleaner through a case in which it mixes up with the collected evaporations and the gases which broke from combustion chambers and is removed via the PCV valve in the inlet pipeline.

The PCV valve, hermetically closed cover of a jellied mouth of motive oil, air inlet and set of connecting vacuum hoses are among the main components of system.

For the purpose of maintenance of stability of turns of idling the PCV valve blocks a purge stream at deep depression in the inlet pipeline. In case of violation of serviceability of functioning of the engine (as, for example, at wear of piston rings) the system makes withdrawal of excess of crankcase gases through a ventilating tube back in the air cleaner and their reburning in combustion chambers.

Intake of crankcase gases in the engine is carried out via the case of a throttle which begins to become covered by tarry deposits, in particular around an arrangement of a butterfly valve over time. In view of told, it is necessary to make cleaning of the case of a throttle from time to time.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Attentively examine all hoses and nipple connections of a path of PCV on existence of signs of development of leaks. By a purge check passability of hoses.
2. Estimate reliability of landing of a cover of a jellied mouth of motive oil, check whether there are no signs of development of leaks through its laying.
3. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the PCV valve.
4. Remove the valve and carefully wipe it.
5. Shake the PCV valve, - correct assembly when stirring has to publish a crash, - in case of need make replacement.
6. The principle of functioning of the PCV valve is explained on an accompanying illustration. Start the engine on single turns and press a finger to an opening in the valve, - in assembly depression has to take place. If depression is not felt, at first check passability of a vacuum hose, then (if a hose as it should be) replace the valve.

As it was already told above, the system of the operated ventilation of a case (PCV) serves for prevention of issue in the atmosphere of crankcase gases. The problem is solved by means of installation in the inlet pipeline of the special PCV valve.

At partial opening of a butterfly valve crankcase gases (via the PCV valve) and the filtered air are soaked up directly in the inlet pipeline by the deep depression created in it. At completely open gate when depression depth in the pipeline is small, a part of crankcase gases goes to the air cleaner and then are soaked up in the engine via the throttle case.

Replacement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the hose brought to it from the PCV valve.
2. Having turned the valve counterclockwise, take it from the landing nest in the inlet pipeline.
3. Installation is made upside-down. Track that the valve was tightened with the required effort (20 ÷ 35 Nanometers), do not forget to connect a vacuum hose.
4. Having pulled vertically up, take the valve from the rubber landing plug. Estimate a plug condition, in case of need make replacement.
5. If the valve is hammered with tarry deposits, also the probability of violation of passability of a connecting hose is not excluded, - remove a hose and wash out it solvent.
6. Having washed out a hose, check it for existence of signs of aging of material and mechanical damages. Track reliability of fixing of a hose on reception unions.
7. In case of need make replacement of the PCV valve.
