Conductor of a jellied mouth of the fuel tank

Appointment

The conductor serves for prevention of a possibility of casual filling of the car with ethylated fuel. The trunk of the filling gun of columns with ethylated fuel does not enter a tank mouth in view of discrepancy of the overall dimensions to parameters of the conductor.

Check

Device for check of the conductor of a jellied mouth

Check is made by means of special measured adaptation, - the calibrated core of the tool should not enter a tank mouth, otherwise the conductor is subject to replacement (see below).

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a back and a pillow of a back seat.

2. Uncover with the panel a floor of access to the fuel tank.

3. Disconnect hoses of giving (1) and return (2) fuels.

4. Give nuts of fastening of assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption.

5. Take assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption from a tank.

6. By means of the manual pump pump out fuel from a tank in the prepared capacity.

7. Remove the right back wheel.

8. Uncover a jellied mouth of the fuel tank and turn out screws of fastening of a sealant.

9. Through a wheel arch remove a protector of a jellied mouth.

10. Release a collar and disconnect a ventilating hose from a mouth.

11. Weaken a collar and separate rubber section of a jellied mouth from a metal tube.

12. Take a tube of a jellied mouth of the fuel tank from under the car.
13. Install a plate with a rubber sealant and pass a tube of a jellied mouth throughout an opening in a loker of a wheel arch.
14. Achieve alignment of openings of a mouth and an adjusting cup, then tighten fixing screws.
15. Pull for the end of a pipe rubber section of a jellied mouth (diameter about 28 mm) and fix it by a collar.
16. Connect a ventilating hose to a tube and also fix it by a collar.

Track that collars did not adjoin to suspension bracket components!

17. Establish a protector.
18. Establish the right back wheel.

19. Omit assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption in a tank. Screw fixing nuts and tighten them in strictly certain order with the required effort (3 ÷ 6 Nanometers).

20. Fill in fuel in a tank.
