System of ignition - the general information and precautionary measures On the models considered in the present manual the system of direct ignition (DIS) working under control of ECM is used (see the Head of the Control system of the engine). The module of management determines ignition advancing corner parameters, based on the basis of information arriving from various information sensors which are continuously tracing service conditions and current state of the engine and issuing the corresponding commands to the ignition module.Function chart of system of ignition For the purpose of ignition of air-fuel mix in engine cylinders the system generates high-voltage (VV) tension and gives it on screwed in each of spark plug engine cylinders. Tension has to be rather high to provide "breakdown" of an air gap between candle electrodes. Besides, "breakdown" has to happen in strictly certain timepoint corresponding to the current position of the piston in the cylinder and answering to requests of the engine in the wide range of operational parameters. Sensors of provision of distributive and cranked shaft (CMP and ICR), set, united in the separate block, from two coils of ignition (cylinders, individual for each couple) and the ignition module are a part of systems of direct ignition. The onboard processor (ESM) develops the basic signals defining an order of connection of the module of ignition to each of coils according to the current provision of a bent shaft. As it was already mentioned above, installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition is carried out by the module of management on the basis of the analysis of the signals arriving from various information sensors which are a part of systems of ignition of injection of fuel. Here ECT, VSS, TPS sensors, provisions of AT, the expense measuring instrument the MAF air/sensor, the detonation sensor enter (see the Head of the Control system of the engine). The module of ignition carries out distribution of a signal between coils and controls duration of impulses of their operation (on primary current). In the DIS system at distribution of ignition the single spark is used. At the command of ESM sparking happens in at the same time two cylinders, the piston of one of which is in the end of a step of compression, another - at the end of a final step. At the same time the main power failure is the share of a candle of the cylinder which is in a compression step in view of much more high pressure in it. Sparking power in the second the cylinder will be minimum (a single spark), providing at the same time reburning of the molecules of air-fuel mix remaining in the combustion chamber that allows to achieve more effective decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases. Sparking happens at a time in cylinders 1-2 and 3-4. At service of systems of direct ignition it is necessary to observe special precautionary measures:
