Check and adjustment of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition

The procedure described below is applicable concerning the majority considered in the present manual to models. Nevertheless, in case of discrepancies with the data given on VECI label, preference should be given the last.

Be careful, - try not to burn about the hot surfaces of the engine which is warmed up up to the normal working temperature!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. In the considered models used on systems of direct ignition of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition can be checked, however are not subject to adjustment.
2. At negative results of check (see Specifications) it is necessary to make testing of a control system of the engine.
3. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
4. Working according to instructions of manufacturers, connect a stroboscope to VV to a wire of a spark plug of the first cylinder (the scheme of an arrangement of cylinders in the engine see in Specifications to the Head Routine maintenance).
5. Start the engine on single turnovers (tracking of frequency of rotation of the engine can be made both on built in a combination of devices, and on remotely connected - act according to instructions of manufacturers - to a tachometer) and of location of an adjusting tag to the scale lit by a stroboscope define value of a corner of an advancing of ignition. Compare results of measurement to the data provided in Specifications.
