Assembly of the hydraulic ABS modulator / control unit

Try not to overturn assembly of the hydraulic modulator in the course of removal and installation and not to put it sideways!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Release and remove a clamp of the contact ECU ABS socket. Disconnect an electrical wiring about the control unit.
3. Release a cable clamp. Previously having marked, disconnect from the modulator block hydraulic lines, - at once to a zakuporta the open ends of lines and nipple connections.
4. Give fixing bolts / nuts and remove assembly of the hydraulic ABS modulator / ECU.

Installation is made upside-down. At installation of new assembly do not forget to cover heads of the tightened fixing bolts with anticorrosive structure like Rust Preventive Wax (Nippeco LT or GB).

Valve limiter

The valve limiter is not subject to recovery repair and in case of failure is replaced assembled!

The valve limiter is located in the right part of a motive compartment of the car around the top support of a rack of a suspension bracket.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect from the valve hydraulic lines and at once to a zakuporta their open ends.
2. Remove the valve from a basic arm.
3. Installation is made upside-down, track that fixing bolts were tightened with the required effort (14 ÷ 13 Nanometers).
4. In conclusion pump over a hydraulic path.

Rotors of forward wheel sensors

Location of wheel sensors on stupichny assemblies of forward and back wheels

1  —  Forward wheel the sensor
2  —  the Back wheel sensor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
2. Remove a support of the corresponding brake mechanism and, without disconnecting from it the hydraulic line, tie up to suspension bracket elements.
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the wheel sensor and remove the last from stupichny assembly.
4. Mark the provision of a brake disk concerning a nave. Remove a disk.
5. Give a stupichny nut.
6. Remove a rack of the stabilizer of cross stability.
7. Weaken a nut of fastening of a spherical support of the cross lever and release a support from stupichny assembly.
8. Beat out a spring pin of fastening of the internal CV JOINT and remove assembly of a power shaft.
9. Disconnect steering draft from stupichny assembly and release spherical hinges.
10. Mark the provision of a head of a razvalny bolt. Turn out bolts of fastening of stupichny assembly to a suspension bracket rack.
11. Remove stupichny assembly from the car.
12. By means of a press dismantle a nave from stupichny assembly.
13. Turn out bolts of fastening of a rotor of the wheel sensor to a nave flange. Remove a rotor.
14. Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace a spring pin of fastening of the internal CV JOINT and a stupichny nut. See that all fixture was tightened with the required effort (see Specifications to Heads Coupling, the transmission line and the Brake system).

Location of a rotor of the wheel sensor on a nave of a forward wheel

1  —  the Rotor of the wheel sensor
2  —  a nave Flange

Rotors of back wheel sensors

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
6. Turn out bolts of fastening of cross and longitudinal levers of a suspension bracket.
7. Beat out a spring pin of fastening of the internal CV JOINT and remove assembly of a half shaft.
8. Turn out bolts of fastening of stupichny assembly to a suspension bracket rack.
9. Remove stupichny assembly from the car.
10. By means of a press dismantle a nave from stupichny assembly.
11. Turn out bolts of fastening of a rotor of the wheel sensor to a nave flange. Remove a rotor.
12. Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace a spring pin of fastening of the internal CV JOINT, a stupichny nut and самоконтрящиеся bolts of fastening of levers of a suspension bracket. See that all fixture was tightened with the required effort (see Specifications to Heads Coupling, the transmission line, the Brake system and the Suspension bracket and steering).

Forward wheel sensors

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor.
3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the sensor and a plait of its electrical wiring.
4. Remove the wheel sensor from stupichny assembly.
5. Installation is made upside-down, - track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort. In conclusion make adjustment of an air gap between the sensor and its rotor (see below).

Back wheel sensors

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor.
3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the sensor.
4. Remove the wheel sensor from stupichny assembly.
5. Installation is made upside-down, - track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort. In conclusion make adjustment of an air gap between the sensor and its rotor (see below).

Adjustment of an air gap between the wheel sensor and its alarm rotor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding wheel.
2. Measure gap size between the wheel sensor and each of 44 teeths of its alarm rotor located behind a brake disk. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications.
3. If the gap is insufficient, use special device (26755AA000) for its expansion.
4. Correction of excessively big gap is made by replacement of a rotor / the wheel sensor.
