Removal and installation of the module of a safety cushion

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1 Make SRS deactivation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
2 Make sure that forward wheels of the car are developed in rectilinear situation.
3 Turn out two bolts (with heads like TORX) fastenings of the module of a safety cushion to a steering wheel.
4 Disconnect an electrical wiring and remove the SRS module.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
2. Having finished installation, make activation of SRS and make sure of serviceability of operation of a control lamp at inclusion of ignition (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).

Bolts of fastening of the SRS module are subject to replacement without fail! Track correctness of connection of an electrical wiring and reliability of fixing of contact sockets.
